The 2022 Stock/ Super Stock Shootout Combo races are special events happening during the RPM Magazine Smackdown6 powered by Maxima Racing Oil and RM Racing Lubricants. The Shootout is a mini event within the SD5 event in that is has its own rules, sponsor support and will mimic the rules of the popular NHRA Open for S/SS combo races. Many entries will be of the highest caliber dial in cars and range from around 300hp to 1000hp stock bodies cars and trucks.
RULES
.500” Sportsman tree, handicap start/ dial in – under index
2 rounds of test passes will be completed (one round Sunday), followed by a chip draw to fill an NHRA Pro Category style ladder (1vs16, 2vs 15 etc).
EVENT SPONSOR DECALS MUST BE ON VEHICLE FROM ROUND 1 TO RECEIVE PAYOUTS
· Open to all NHRA/ IHRA Stock Eliminator & Super Stock Eliminator. Pure Stock, NSS and FX combo entries prohibited
· All entries must proceed to REGISTRATION before they may make your first run of TESTING and register your entry. Name, Car #, Class Designation, Minimum Weight for combo.
· Permanent (Vinyl Decal or Paint) Class Designation must be displayed on 4 sides of vehicle. Shoe Polish Prohibited unless approved by race director on day of eliminations.
· Entries may be weighed after each run. There will be no minus lbs allowance at the scales.
· Entries must dial on or under their respective index.
· Heads-Up races after first round.
· Courtesy Staging in effect
· Entries must pass track tech inspection prior to eliminations
· Bye runs, competition singles must break the beams
Class Car Tech Inspection may be done on final 4 cars prior to payout.
